New to LOTRO

"Founders code" is available for purchase for 200 euro ( 150 pounds ).
I don't know if it's still available, but I got my lifetime subscription without having a founders code.
It should be under the payment methods I guess.

My office mates just bought an iphone each for $400, but I bet it'll be like ?400 when it finally comes out here!

It could also have been 220 euro now that I think of it =P

Right now I don't know if I should cry or just laugh about this ...

I have tried to activate my account ... and my code went in and it tells me I have payed until november ... but my account is closed since I can't get my Visa card o work here ... most be a space or some stuff like that in my adress thats not the same as what they get from my VISA ... have check what adress my bank have on me and I have put that into the game .... so now I really starts to wonder how it have worked out for you guys ... ?

because all this problems to get LOTRO to work makes me wonder if it's worth the trouble ... I have been trying to get into the game for 6 hours now ... and still failed ... when should I give up?

I did about... well, over 24h total with the downloading process, installing the patches and figuring out the CD -key stuff etc. (Played with buddy key at first)

When I bought the game, entered subscription codes etc. and  look at my cogaccount profile and saw that the account is not active... just reloaded the page and it said it's active.

And if you really want to do something, you'll have the trouble... not really worth quitting now if you're that far.

AND, with the game, you should have at least 1month free subscription.

yeah it tells me that I have time until middle of Nov ... but since I have not been able to enter my Visa card number it tells me that my account is closed ... and have mailed their support ... but I guess those guys are sleeping right now ...

Well, you can happily play for the month at least and worry about the payment then.
