You'll find that The Western Alliance is in a lot of ways very different from NFC but also has a lot of similarities. Good luck with your application!

I think TWA is the closest you'd find on the server to the old NFC; NFC was more RP orientated, but with a similar "freedom" of choice for members - to participate in activities that you are interested in, be it RP, PvP, PvE or making pies.  While many of the RP kins on the server probably have similar/greater levels of RP as NFC, I've really not seen that many with actual well thought story-based RP, or RP beyond "social chatting" (which is not RP to me.  It's using Lotro as an MSN Messenger in faux character).
