I, Eairyth of Rohan, have very humble beginnings. Both my parents are healers, my mother of people and my father of horses. I have no siblings, although I know mother wanted a huge family. She told me growing up that I was a blessing for them, because of this I think they were a little over protective of me and I never witnessed any unhappiness. My childhood was one without any worries or hardship. I spent everyday helping my parents go about their daily routines of caring for prople and animals alike. From a very early age i was interested in learning everything anyone was willing to teach me and I soon mastered all my parents could pass on to me so they arranged for me to go to the scholars for further education. I progressed rapidly and convinced the head scholars, with my quick advancement through the trainning, that they should send me further afield to increase my knowledge and skills so that I may return and pass on the newly aquired wisdom to those at home. My mother was overwrought with worry for me, telling my father that he should make me stay at home with my family. Eventually my father saw the benefits my further trainning would have for our country as a whole and persuaded my mother to consent to the scholars' wishes. I was sent North to Bree to begin my new phase of education. Whilst travelling I encountered the aftermath of Orc raids and other horrible acts of violence against the good hard working folks of Middle-Earth. I decided that I would postpone my time at the centres of learning and seek out others who wanted to rid the world of the evils I was seeing.
