I remember my last day as a child with no sorrow. Running around in the woods, playing with the animals but than, that day came... I'll never forget it.
Orcs came hunting into our village, killing everyone they saw. I ran into my room, hiding in the closet. When i heared nothing i came out and saw all the terror...
My hometown was destroyed, everybody i loved got killed, i had nothing. For days i sat in my room, couldn't eat, couldn't drink. I guess i had lucky i did not die.
Lucky... if you can speak of luck at that time...

I realized i couldn't stay there for ever so i looked around and took averythink that was precious to me. A neckless from my mother and a bow from my father.
I ran of into the wilderness, learing everything a hunter needs. It took me some while before i could kill a rabbit with my father's bow or before i knew how to set a trap.

It's been a few years know and still, every day i think about my parents. I realize i cannot conquer the orcs all by myself. I need some companions, a refuge were i can rest, find comfort when i'm sad... Hopefully i can find some comfort here.

My real name is Yannick and i live in Ghent, Belgium. I played lotro from the start but stopped after a few weeks because i hadn't got the time. A while ago i restarted with WoW but i find lotro nicer so now i'm restarting with lotro again...
Altough i am just a level 8 hunter (elf) i have quiet some experience with mmorpg's. I played Wow for quiet some time.
The reason why i like lotro better is because it isn't a rush. Best players are not reconized because they have the best gear like in WoW.
It's the first time i register for a RP server. I really felt like doing it. A while ago i started to write some stories (in dutch) and i thought it would be nice if my main char came to live in a mmorpg so here i am

well its nice to see low levels arent afraid to aply. I see you are new to RP, we dont do a lot of it but if you need some pointers and some help with your background story we have some great writers and RPers in the Kinship, that would be glad to help.

Well, i didn't know if you would let me join because i'm a low level but on  the other hand, in a few weeks, you can level a lot
I try to play 2 hours a day when i work, in the weekend, it could get 8 hours

I'd love to work harder on my RP, if not for in game use, it would be nice to write better stories. you'll never hear me say i'm a good writer

we dont discriminate against levels, we have a couple of lower levels now though most of us are in the 40s.
We like to recruit the person and not the character

oh well, at the moment there is a guy from the netherlands sitting right in front of me. He's helping us out for a while and it's strange what differences we have in languages... funny words and "what do you mean?" al the time
