1. NAME (optional)
Esther

2. AGE
29

3. COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE
The Netherlands

4. TIMEZONE
GMT+1

5. PREVIOUS MMORPG EXPERIENCE
About ten years in total, including Cardea, Runescape, Rift, Conan and the past four years WoW

6. PREVIOUS LOTRO EXPERIENCE
About a month now

7. HAVE YOU BEEN A MEMBER OF OTHER KINSHIPS?
- The Order of Middle Earth - left after 3 days because the members behaved very childish
- Unfinished Tales - left after nine days due to a very inactive kinship

8. YOUR MAIN CHARACTER
Brennidan, male, champion, atm lvl 29 with 25k left of becoming 30, explorer vocation, wears mostly GB warrior clothes.

9. YOUR ALTS, IF ANY
I've got a few. I started them to become familiar with the classes, now I use them for the vocations, to earn me that extra buck.
- Ambrean, lvl 7 human loremaster , jeweler/cook
- Ambry, lvl 7 hobbit burglar, farmer/scholar
- Gallariel, lvl 8 elven hunter, weaponsmith/woodworker
- Thalborin - lvl 7 dwarf captain, metalsmith
- Ambrosious - lvl 6 human minstrel (but will get deleted soon)
- Maeruth - lvl 13 human captain, she's for when I need a break from Brennidan and/or want to roleplay something else. She's an old Breelander, a widower and has seen her share of violence and hatred. She resides in Bree and spends her day taking care of people, cooking, cleaning and growing flowers, which she tries to sell on the market.

All of them are on Laurelin, (except for Ambrosius, who's on Landroval, but will be deleted soon), and none of them are in a kinship.

10. HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT TWA?
Laurelin Archives

11. DO YOU KNOW ANY CURRENT TWA MEMBERS?
None really, I only spoke with Eresmir earlier today to ask some questions about the kinship.

12. ABOUT YOURSELF
Well, I'm a fanatic female mmo'er, always have been from the moment I learned about mmo's, which was about ten years ago. Over the past years I've switched a lot, except for WoW. I played WoW for the past four years, but recently decided it was time to move on. The game just didn't entertain me anymore. I started at first as a normal player, but ended up quickly in the heavy rp scene for about a year and half. During that time I became the rp officer of a large, heavy rp guild. I was in charge of creating and setting up new serverwide rp events, maintaining the guild rp story, helping those who wanted help with their roleplay and so forth. I had a blast of a time, but after about a year and a half the guild became totaly dependant on me as for the roleplay, which was something I wanted. Also, as an officer - and I've no doubt others in similar positions can agree on this - I got a lot of dealing with people who didn't like something and blamed me for it, even when it had nothing to do with me. You just can't please everyone all of the time. So after a lot of crap and no encouragement from others, I decided to leave. I then dived into the semi-hardcore raiding aspect of WoW and cleared everything on normal and hc mode during Lich King and was on my way of clearing the cata raids on hc mode, when our guild fell apart, due to some officers favoring some raiders above others. A lot of my friends left. I stayed a few more weeks, but then made my descision and left WoW for good. I just had enough of it and the new expansion didn't bring the extra's I thought it would have (aka WoW nerfing a lot for the worse). But I still needed my daily dosis of mmo, so after some searching, I figured to give Lotro a try. So far I like it very much, although I can't help myself and compare it every now and then with WoW.
Some other general info about me: I'm from the Netherlands, have studied photography and journalism, but due to lack of work in my field because of the bad economy, I now work in the mail office, sorting mail, and as a stand in housecleaner. I work irregular hours, but mostly during the evening and nights, so I'm mainly online during the afternoons. Except for Sunday evening and Thursday evening, as those are my days off, so you'll see plenty of me then. In my spare time I like to write thriller and fantasy novels, and hopefuly get published one day. I also like to watch movies and hang on the couch with my husband, my grumpy old cat and our hyper german shepherd of 1,5 years old, who's in the midst of his K9-training, but due to his puppyhood/puberty can still be quite a handful.

13. ABOUT YOUR MAIN
Brennidan Wytter is a male in his early thirties and a labourer for hire. In his spare time he likes to fish or spend some hours in The Prancing Pony for a few beers and some laughter. After years of wandering the lands, he finds himself in search for some rest and peace. Which is why he's renting a small house in Breeland. Brennidan grew up in Gondor, but was abbandoned as a child by his parents. To this day he is unaware as to why they left him and this is the reason why he became a wanderer, in search for his parents or at least some answers. Although he's now settling himself in Bree, he will hit the roads again, as soon as he hears something new.

14. I AM INTERESTED IN RAIDING
Somewhat. I'm not familiair with raiding in Lotro, so not sure what to think of it at the moment. Though if it's just as fun as raiding in WoW, then I'm all for it.

15. I AM INTERESTED IN FELLOWSHIP QUESTS
Yup, I'm always in for some nice questing with a bunch of others and run some GB's or skirmishes.

16. I AM INTERESTED IN RP & RP EVENTS
A lot, I love to roleplay. For me rp must be as real as possible; lore correct, no ooc stuff in the /chat, no godmodes/mary sues/another one in a dozen hero. I prefer to play a commoner. One that has not had a great load of adventures, monsterslaying, demon hunting etc, but the plain, ordinary tailor who works hard to make a living, or the elderly who sits by the fire and tells stories to the children around her. In my opinion rp'ing those sort roles are often much more difficult to rp, but also a lot more exciting and rewarding. I have had my share of creating and setting up server wide rp events on WoW, but for now would like to take a break from that and just sit back and relax. Although I'm always in for sharing ideas, give advice and perhaps in the future create something new.

Heya Brennidan and welcome to the forums!

Be forewarned though that most of the rp in the kin is generally passive or amongst players themselves, there's no real "official" rp being organised, though initiatives are always welcomed, encouraged and supported as much as possible.

And I must say, a very nice application to read.

Anyways, again, welcome to the forums and good luck with your application.

Thanks all for the warm replies.

@ ninetoes: Yeah, I'm aware that this kinship isn't much into rp. That's fine by me, as long as there is some room for me to rp in. I've searched all over Laurelin, but there just isn't a medium/big active and medium to heavy rp kinship. So I'll settle for the medium/big kinship that's very active and has more than just 2 people including myself online on a daily basis. Smile

Welcome to our forum! We can always use more RP-ers Big Grin, who knows we might get a true RP kinship once.

Oh and while we do have an official minimum recruitment level of 30, I think we'll be able to settle for 29.5 Tongue. You might notice we've got a lot of top-level members at the moment, so don't be afraid to drag people out of Dunland into lower level instances when you need some company, most of us even do have some lower level alts to keep it interesting.
