12. ABOUT YOURSELF
Hehe let’s not make this a too long introduction~ My name is Bart Lambotte, a nineteen years old guy living in Belgium. I got a light autism meaning my situation is slightly different from usually, most noticeable being that I’m going to a special school to help me prepare for my future career until the age of 24 when I finally start working. On emotional side I’m a pretty ordinary guy, like to have a good laugh and play together with other people. A funny detail to note is that I feel guilty very fast if I think I did something wrong and have the disability to lie because I start laughing like silly shortly after I tell it.

For interests I’m a great fan of fantasy novels and movies to the point I write short ones myself. Originally I never learned English at school but my interest in anime made me self-study it, this year being my fourth year since I started learning English. I have a fondness for roleplaying, especially forum roleplays, having started my first one three years ago, most of them ranging from fantasy to game themed ones. On aspect of gaming, due to my difficulties to have social contact in real life  I tend to spend a lot of time behind the computer, Lord of the Rings online and Final Fantasy 11 being the main games I play with a small variation of single player roleplay games.

On roleplay aspect I have developed the silly habit to play as female character’s only, Felonhad being the very first male character I ever made in a mmo. Since most of my characters tend to have a fairly playful, cheerful and silly personality I’m hoping I won’t turn Felonhad into a softie. For those who like to know anything more about me don’t hesitate to call~


13. ABOUT YOUR MAIN
Raised in the golden woods of Lothlórien Felonhad had already been confronted with strife at a very early age. Its guards constantly having to be prepared for surprise assaults of the goblins that dwelled within the countless caves of the Misty mountains Felonhad had grown up watching those brave warriors risk their life encounter after encounter. While the art of the bow was often favored by his elven kin Felonhad actually came to favor the javelins and pole arm the legendary wardens wielded. They wielded their weaponry with extreme grace and strength, their shields sturdy to shield those in need and their spears sharp to pierce those who provoked their wrath. Certainly it might had also been because Felonhad’s elder sister Lothwen, a skilled warden often supervised the young potential elf whose skills rapidly developed thanks to the ages he had watched the wardens of Lothórien fight with such amazing abilities and his devotion to follow into their footsteps. It was around the time Felonhad reached maturity in the elvan sociality that the news had spread Lord Elrond was gathering skilled and brave warriors to protect the refuge of Edhelion with the increasing tension between the elves and the dwarves who inhabited the halls in the Blue Mountains.

It was during this time Felonhad’s life would drastically change when the disastrous events surrounding the refuge’s fall by the betrayal of Skorgrim Dourhand, the leader of the Dourhand dwarves. Seeing not only his friends but even his sister, who foolishly believed friendship between elves and dwarves was not as impossible as it seemed, yet only to die at that naïve ideal for she was killed during the battle, brutally backstabbed by a Dourhand dwarf who she had shown mercy to. Ever since then Felonhad’s heart has been burdened with heavy grief and sorrow, not only losing Edhelion that he grew to consider a new home but even losing his trust in dwarves as whole, blindly following in the blazes of conflict that would follow after the fall of Edhelion, threaten to spark a new conflict over the passing of time.

Many years later upon hearing Lord Elrond was gathering a force to aid his sons in discovering a approaching danger that loomed in the shadows of the Blue Mountains Felonhad, in a attempt to cast away the shadow of depression that loomed on his mind by reflecting on the past conflict within the ruins of the once proud refuge of Edhelion and in a attempt to solve his inner-doubt about the alliance with dwarves, yet little could he expect how greatly that decision would affect him. During the time Felonhad was visiting the grave of his departed sister he would soon stumble upon the tracks of a wicked plan to revive the very same dwarf that had caused the conflict that took his sister’s life. Filled with a newfound strength the young elf slowly came to realize that the events in the Blue Mountains might had been prevented by the very same ideals his sister once upheld so silently he pledged to prevent the wicked plan to be accomplished, finally discarding his hatred for dwarves in order to discover if his sister’s ideal was strong enough to become reality.

Welcome to the forums Felonhad - good luck with the application.  My older brother is autistic, and I share some of his traits in a mild way myself, so I have a little understanding of these things.  Unfortunately, one of the traits is that it's easy to get addicted to things like computer games, and lotro is very addictive!  I expect I'll see you around quite a bit
