Update 23.2: The Anvil of Winterstith

Update 23.2, with the new raid, The Anvil of Winterstith, is now active.

I'm AFK for a few days, but I hope to get a first look at the raid soon, and will report back.

Ran The Anvil with Unwanted Alliance in T1, and we got as far as the final boss (the rather unimpressive Weeping Warrior). In general, the raid seems easier and more accessible than other recent raids - certainly much more so than the Abyss - and with a little practice should be doable in a single session, at least in T1.

If anyone wants to give it a try, sign up with the Unwanted (https://unwanted-alliance.shivtr.com/). You will need reasonable gear - basically all or nearly all teal, with some decent essences.

I'm mildly tempted to apply, but I don't have many teals (most of my jewellery is purple), and the forum says captains are perhaps not so much in demand. With the current end-game mechanics driven by entirely by dailies, my preferred playing style of long but infrequent sessions doesn't really help
