I left my home in Gondor seeking for the truth behind the many tales of my grandsires history. Listening to the stories of ancient glory told by my family, the suggestions of lost heirlooms and ruined manor houses, I dreamt of reclaiming these for the fortune of my line. Now I have spent some time amonst the men of Bree, and met with some of particular note such as one called Strider, I hear many rumours of war and orcs. I feel my original quest must be left aside for a while and I should offer my aid in these troubled times, and so it is that I seek allies and brotherhood with other good fellows to rid this land of the Enemys shadow!

Been playing with home computers since they first started (ooo the Dragon!  ;D ). Online gaming experince includes EQ1, EQ2, AC1, Planetside and SecondLife, plus a load of other stuff like Doom, VC, Tribes etc etc. I have been into RPG games (tabletop and computer) for many years, but prefer light RP when it comes to online stuff, sorry but you just can't do 'proper' RP with only text emotes to work with! 
Looking for a friendly bunch of people to game with, but who are at least a little bit serious about what they are doing. I'm not a l33t raid-guild monsta! I play these games for fun but I also like to do well at them and (hopefully) get to the 'end-boss'  ;D Must Kill Morgoth!!
I have other characters as well that I would like to join up when and if possible including a 39th lvl dwarf guardian and a 32nd lvl elf minstrel, but hey lets see if I get in first

Many thanks for the application.  I'm from Worcester, so possibly quite close!

I'm sure one of our officers will chat to you in-game very soon.

One question though, which would be your main character that you'd play the most?  Obviously once you're accepted as a member we'll be happy to invite all your alts into the kinship also, but I'm eager that you apply with the character you anticipate you would spend most time on, be it your Captain, Minstrel or Guardian.  We do have a lot of guardians, and obviously we wish to avoid the scenario of people signing up with an alt to dogde the recruitment freeze on Guardians and then switching to the guardian once accepted!

You do seem like a nice enough chap, but we'll have to have a chat in-game.  If you do decide to join as a guardian, we'll have to get the go-ahead from Edatain our Guardian Leader, as we have a lot of guardians right now.

Meanwhile, I hope I've not put you off, and I look forward to meeting you and possibly seeing you in our lovely kinship!

Belegorn is my main toon at the moment, I am enjoying the support-class role, I used to play healer/support mostly in EQ. My guardian is more a role playing character, it is my 'old favorite' as it were, dwarf fighter etc, have been playing him in every game system since original TSR D&D  ;D yea most definatly pipe and slippers, maybe a bit of beard and sandals too!
I am more than happy to continue with being a captain, I like the role within a group. The other characters joining was more just because its nice to be all in one place, with the same bunch of peeps. Well hope to speak to you soon in game!  ;D

Atm i wont put your guardian in as a member, but i would let him be an alt. So sign up with one of your alts and youll get in no problem

Thats oke, as the captain leader I am thrilled to see so many new captains joining, for a long while it was just me and Methrendomir.
I think Captains really play a vital role in any endeavour, be it raiding or instances or just adventuring. I will try to contact you in game real soon but dont hesitate to contact any of the other officers.
