Age: 36
From: Ireland
Occupation: Freelance CG artist, more specifically 3d character modeling and sculpting
Previous MMO experience: Everquest and DAoC.

I've reached level 50 without joining  any kinships, since there didn't seem much purpose in it, and choosing a kinship is not easy in-game at low level, since it's basically an arbitrary decision, in that there are so many of them, and there isn't any real way of deciding how good a kinship is until after you've joined.
However, now I have a long list of Helegrod raids in my quest log, and have been looking for a competent kinship capable of cracking them.
Finding balanced and competent PUGS at this level is becoming impossible, and I find I'm not getting much done any more, so it's either find a good kinship, or quit the game entirely.
I feel I've become a competent group player in the 6 weeks since I've joined lotro, but that'll be for you to decide.
I'm not a serious roleplayer, but I don't might some light RP either. I am a big LotR fan however, and I've read Tolkien's books at least a dozen times since I was 13. I'm also not a hardcore gamer, in that I'm not obsessed with being the best and getting the leetest gear. I really just want to have some fun with this level 50 character I've made, and that means joining a good kinship.

Sounds like our kind of player, always of course excluding the lunatic fringe (You Know Who You Are)...

Thanks guys, and even if I'm not quite up to the standard of player that you expect, I'm willing to learn from more experienced players, and since I've only been playing 6 weeks, I haven't got any bad habits engrained as yet)

I tried to add you to my friends list last night and I get the message 'player does not exist'.  Is it spelt wrongly in this post?
