Try the new client download, if it goes really fast you could re-install. Otherwise I wouldn't do any harsh things yet like uninstalling but instead wait for CM updates.

Kai, if you're using that Pando program again to grab the client be sure to go into your Control Panel -> Pando Media Booster -> Advanced Connection Settings. In there, tick the box to limit your upload speed and pick a value that's half or less of your available upload speed. If left unticked the stupid program will just take up 100% of your upload bandwidth and the knock-on effect is that it will completely cripple your download speed, and indeed your web-browsing and everything else internet related.
