CM Mirkwood pre-order news

Just before I head out for the weekend, I wanted to let you know that we hope to announce details of our Mirkwood pre-order offerings next week.
As explained earlier this week, we still have some final bits that need approvals and as soon as that's all done we'll be good to go.

Horrible... € 27.99 for both the combined SoM and AP, but when you buy them separate € 19.99 + € 6.99 = € 26.98 who's doing the maths at CM??

Oh for those interested: if you temporarily change your country to United Kingdom in your CM account settings you can pay in pounds, which looking at the exchange rates saves a few euros too...

Didn't Turbine say somewhere they were going to allow all mounts at lvl 25?

Ah, found it:

My Little Pony (or horse)

Players can now gain access to their first horse or pony at level 20. This is a slower version of a normal mount and has less health, but gets you saddled up sooner in the game. The cost of this mount is 220 silver and looks the same as the Founder’s Bree-horse. As a result of this change, Founders can start riding their mounts at level 15!

Yeah, I hate it when they screw up exchange rates like that. It frightens me to imagine how many fall for this sort of scam.

What is this 'founder's mount'?  I'm a founder, but don't think I get a mount?  I thought it was something you got from a special pack or something.

Yeah, that's the Bree horse, in the US (where the quote comes from) founders got it, CM put it in their 'Gold Edition'. Just curious how useful it is when you get a 'My Little Pony'...

the point is moot though.  The link to 'pre-order now' is dead.

Just replace the http://cogaccount... in the link by https://cogaccount... and it will work.
