Maurvaethil's app, one day too late!

Well, folks, it seems I was a day or two behind the deadline. I was in the process of moving and only had a very unreliable mobile internet connection here, hooked up to a laptop that has been through the jungles of Liberia functioning as a modem for my computer; and so I thought it wise to hold off my application until I had finished moving and returned to a more stable, more humane internet set-up. I endured many a reminder from my friend Teolwyn to apply, but seeing as recruitment was open for all classes I saw no need to do so pre-emptively. Well, seems like I should have jumped the gun, this time! I hope it's not too long until TWA opens up for recruitment, again. Or, perhaps you reading this are moved to tears by my most unfortunate tale and are willing to make an exception?
1. NAME: Maurvaethil 2. AGE: 19 3. COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE: UK 4. TIMEZONE: GMT +1 5. PREVIOUS MMORPG EXPERIENCE: I've played Eve, Star Wars: Galaxies and a couple of others but only for a short time. I could never stand WoW for more than a couple of hours for many reasons which I shall not blind and deafen the readers with, here. 6. PREVIOUS LOTRO EXPERIENCE: I started playing simultaneously as my friend in early 2008. I haven't been playing for a couple of months, however, due to various things going on in life, but am looking forward to once again spend some good time fellowshipping with, well, fellows; exploring the new areas, gathering tasties, and enjoying the tactics of combat. I've done much of Moria as a tank, an elven Warden. I've been the main tank in any group encounter/instance that I've done, bar one (when much two higher level tanks came along). I have no radiance gear, though, so I'm not exactly an expert on the end-game strategies. Yet. Completing Dark Delvings is what I look forward to at the moment. 7. HAVE YOU BEEN A MEMBER OF OTHER KINSHIPS?: Yes, Serenity, though due to their tendency to recruit whomever ran past them on the road while I was a member I didn't get much out of it. Raids and events that I experienced were basically pick-up-groups due to loose recruitment at that time. It just didn't feel like being in a kinship, at all, really. 8. YOUR MAIN CHARACTER: Maurvaethil, Elven Warden, level 60 with no radiance gear, however some nice items 9. YOUR ALTS, IF ANY: 10. HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT TWA?: My friend "Teolwyn" joined and it was all he could rave about!  He highly suggested TWA to me, listing various (and I think, rare) qualities the group possesses that he knows I would value!11. DO YOU KNOW ANY CURRENT TWA MEMBERS?: Above. 12. It's about time. Welcome! Too bad about the recruitments being closed for the moment, but I'm looking forward to playing with you again, none the less. As for the application, I can validate anything Maur has written. A great, fun player who knows what's what when it comes to the Warden, and the game as a whole. Good luck, and I'll see you in-game!

Maurvaethil's description: There is something decidedly uninviting about this Elf, on whom the weight of his years is almost a tangible load. He seems bleached of all colour, save for the singularity of his peculiar, violet eyes. Though you notice he favours his left whenever moving, his build is both powerful and stately, giving the distinct air of much martial experience. His countenance is like a northern landscape - cold, harsh, eerily beautiful. PS. His name is Sindarin for Gloom-warrior, so I always found it funny when people shorten it to Maur. In essence, you're calling him "Gloom."
