Cariwen Malinorne

Hello all.
Methrendir has kindly (read: cattle prod) asked that I write a little introduction about who/what/why/where etc. Cariwen Malinorne is.. /rp on "Mae govannen! Im Cariwen Malinorne o Taur-nu-Fuin. Elenn sila lumenn omenti?lvo." I was born in Taur-nu-Fuin, the forest realm Man refers to as Mirkwood. Around my 97th year Morgoth's lackey from the East took possession of Dol Guld?r under the guise of the Necromancer. My parents, alarmed by this sought refuge far to the West in Lindon in the then peaceful and beautiful city of Edhelion. For a time all was quiet, but a mere century later, the dwarves under the leadership of Skorgrim Dourhand invaded and destroyed the city, killing my parents as they fought to protect it. I myself barely escaped with my life, only due to the timely intervention of Elrond the wise and his army routing the foul dwarves from the city. Now 600 years later Skorgrim, thought dead during the assault on Edhelion has resurfaced and fled eastward toward the lands of Men. Rumour has it he and his kin have forged an alliance with the shadow from the North and I have made it my sworn duty to seek out Skorgrim and put an end to his and his allies' evil. Thus began my journey through Middle-Earth. /rp off My name is Michael, Mike for short. I'm a 34 year old radio broadcast technician who dabbles in Dungeons & Dragons (formely known as AD&D sigh :/ ) along with being a veteran of several MMORPGS, most notably EverQuest 1, Star Wars Galaxies and a persistant roleplay only Neverwinter Nights world known as A Land Far Away (ALFA for short). Nuff said.

I enjoy watching paint dry. I imagine that the wet paint is a big freshwater lake that is the only source of water for some tiny cities by the lake. As the lake gets drier, the population gets more desperate, sometimes there are water riots and once there was a big fire and everyone died.
