I present myself to you as nothing but an honorable traveler, I have no riches or treasures to offer you, but I am willing to lay down my staff and books to defend your kinship.

Let me better explain my reasons, I am the traveler known as Laidan Hex, an aspiring lore-master of the race of men. I travel for the pleasure of it and to better understand my own mind and destiny.

As I grew up, my mother a carer of the young and lost and my farther a famed musician I never truly felt that this was my path. On the wise advice of my farther I am now a traveler trying to leave middle earth in a better state than I found it, in hope that along the way I may find my own destiny.

Of all the Men, Elves and Hobbits I have met and adventured with the name of your kinship has been talked of like no other, I would be honored to join you.

I am from the UK, Midlands to be specific. I'm 27 years old (28 on the 20th) married and have a beautiful 3 year old daughter. Right there was about all you really need to know about me. I lead of of those family oriented lives that I love, but I dare say would bore the hell out of you.

My MMO experiences started with Guild Wars, then Tabula Rasa, World Of Warcraft (briefly I may add) Ive also played City Of heroes and Archlord. Until I found LotRO I never thought an MMO would peek my interest in the same way Guild Wars did, but alas here I am so, yeah, I like it a lot.

I played Guild Wars for over a year and ran up over a thousand hours of game time (and thats just what X-Fire managed to track, theres probably more)

I have been playing LotRO for about 3 weeks now, I know its not a long time, but as you all will know. If you find an MMO you like you need to find a community or your interest will decrease. I was recommended to contact you by Firman (of The One True Cast)

As for my Role Play experience, that started at college with the 'White Wolf' game Vampire: The Masquerade' I played for years with many people, I also played Aberrant and Mage: The Ascension (all pen and paper group games)

I'd love to start experiencing lotro now with a clean slate and have it all new over again.  There is a general feeling amongst us oldies that the playable content level is just not enough now, but to be honest, this time right now is absolutely the best time to start.  There's about 4 or 5 months until the first big expansion pack comes out, and that's just enough time to explore all of Eriador at your leisure, and just when you think you've done everything there is to do the new content will be upon us!
