Greetings.

My name is Ruen Katar and I hail from the far land of Rohan. Like most of my fellow Rohirrim I enjoy the thrill of battle, but I understand that sometimes open battle and a glorious Horse Charge are not the best options. A tactical weaking of the enemy by the removal of his leaders, poisoning of supplies or water is often the better option. As such I have trained long and hard to become as skilled in the dark arts of assasination, trickery, bribery and theft. My training lead to me leaving Rohan and wandering Middle Earth to hone my skills, having arrived in Eriador I am in need of companions for the occasions that a stuble knife in the dark is inadequete.

My character Ruen is a lvl 20 Burglar. I would like to join The Western Alliance after seeing for message on the CM forums.

I am looking for a friendly guild that isn't obssessed with Hardcore RP or Raiding and from reading these forums I think this guild fits those criteria. I am a friendly but quiet person, willing to help out whenever I can. But I feel I should warn you that I am not the best gamer in the world. I have played a lot of MMO including UO, SWG, WoW, DDO, CoH. I do tend to make many mistakes when playing and I can guarantee I will press the wrong skill, get lost, aggro things I should, save my fellowship skills until a boss then forgot to use them, riddle the wrong mob, etc... So if that puts you off then so be it.

I also play a lvl 26 Champion on this server.

In RL I am 27 years old and live in Norfolk in the UK.

Ps My spelling/typing is appalling at times  .

We are all very pleased that you decided to join our kinship. When you are in game try to contact any of our Officers so they can add you to as a kinship member.
You will have a trial period as an initiate for 2 weeks before you can become a full member.
I'm sure you will be able to find a spot within the kinship, we are all about cooperation and fun, eventually we will get into rading and the likes but we are in no hurry to get there and its purely for the fun a raid can provide.

Don't worry about your gaming skills, im sure we can polish them up some.

Also, nice IC intro, im very much looking forward to meeting you in game and having an RP chat. And its good to have another Rohirrim with us, the Gondorians were beginning to be a bit domminant

Don't worry about your gaming skills, im sure we can polish them up some.

Your welcome to try, but many have tried and all have failed. I do try to do what i'm told just not in the way that other people might expect, and i'm clumsy and easily confused. Don't blame me if you end up bald from the stress  ;D.

The IC bit was just something I thought up really quickly, think of it as his 'story' when the guards, etc... catch up with him. In game behaviour may vary as I'm still getting used to RP in the LoTR setting.

Fashion advice is badly needed, at least Ruen looks less of a disaster then I do in RL.

It seems no officer has been able to get a hold of you yet. If you are in game try contacting the following people.

Thoronthor, Edatain, Garbo, Annawyn, Methrendomir, Alaros and Predgar.

They are the current officers and can invite you in. just send them a tell and remind them of who you are and that you posted an aplication on the forum.

Also you can make an acount on this forum so you can atleast access the member pages. You will have to wait for Methrendomir to aprove the acount though (should not take to long)
