Yes, I'm getting this as well, and I never installed a preview client or some such nonsense. Googled around for solutions and tried every single one of them to no avail. The only one that I haven't tried is re-installing the game, which I outright refuse to do. This company is really getting on my nerves.

You can download the full client from here. It's 10.4 GB so a little smaller than the Preview client at least. If you are going to download the full client I'd start now before the hordes arrive.

well, as bele said, you can download the complete client via Pando (is that the name?). MAybe Bele can help out with the link and details? and ~2GB in 15 mins is a lot, so downloading it doesnÃÂ´t hurt too much.

I did have the preview client but uninstalled it a couple of days ago and I haven't encountered that hash file problem with the patching process.

Before I do anything that drastic - is that the equivalent of a full reinstall of the game? And will I need the original disks for SoA and MoM?

It is the equivalent of a full re-install yes. As far as I know you won't need the original disks, after all this is the client F2P players will download so it should have everything in it. There may be more downloading after you install the client again since it might have to download content for paid expansions i.e. Moria and Mirkwood.

still chatting to others with the same problems and as of yet noone has fixed it Sad

.. hopefully something will surface as I wouldnt wish a full client download on anyone !

That sounds like really, really bad news. I can see something going wrong and my right to access Moria and beyond being questioned, or even my lifetime subscription. This has very seriously shaken my confidence in CM... Their site being down is just the icing on the cake. I think I'll just wait and see.

The annoying part is the forum being down/very shaky so it's hard to even check and see what the status of this issue is.

It shouldn't be that bad Kairos, your access to Moria etcetera and lifetime is bound to your account so you won't lose that if you re-install.
