Account successfully migrated, Lotro-Forum-Account successfully named Parmur, Client install complete. Waiting for Servers to come up. Happy!  :vh1: :xm4:

My launcher just launched on it's own and started updating like 2k files!!!

Damn it freaked me out :angry3:

I guess I am migrating?!?

I seem to have completed the transfer in IE, ending up with opening a Turbine forum account (but some bastard has already nabbed "Kairos", so I'll have to be "Anaxapart"). I suspect some people may have trouble getting Turbine to accept a European credit card, though; it wouldn't accept my Visa. Luckily I have a lifetime account, so it doesn't make any difference, but still a bit worrying...

Meanwhile, the LOTRO launcher seems to be downloading an endless series of loading screens.

Anyone know what happens next?

Aha, okay, so it was a bit confusing with payment methods but it seems all you need to do is make that new account. Once you are fully migrated it will automatically give you your turbine points and VIP time.

The usual update stuff... a restart and then the usual update stuff but with Turbine logos. That's as far as I am now.

And I've actually posted on the Turbine forum! Didn't bother with billing information.
