Mythranor - application - mythranor - 13 Sep, 07

name:
Mythranor Harlgar

Class:
Champion

Age:
22

level
49

Background:
Mythranor spent his childhood and most of his teenager life as a farmer of the north downs. His Uncle who was a watchmen though had taught him in the arts of the greatsword and when Mythranor reached the age of 18, his uncle, feeling the time had come for himself to retire had gifted Mythranor with his prised greatsword Airinor and Imedietly had placed him as a watchman of Trestlebridge.

Mythranor spent a year fighting as a watchman, fighting small bands of orcs who came down from angmar, but in recent times the orcs came down in more numbers and left much of the area in ruins, including an attack on Mythranor's farm while he was on leave.

on his own, save a few pitchforked farmers, they were hoplessly outnumbered, but mythranor fought on. He slew orc after orc after orc but it was to no avail and he was hit in his thigh with an arrow. As he fell to his knees he saw his farm burn and all that was once his disapear. As an large brutal orc came to finish him, mythranor lay helplessly,  untill suddenly an arrow had hit the orc straight between the eyes. Mythranor turned to see at last guardsmen reinforcements from trestlebridge come and where already begining to drive the raiders away

After Mythranor recovered anger had all but overcome him and Mythranor vowed that he would never rest untill the orc hoards were all driven from middle-earth, and with that he left his home and set off to complete his nigh impossible task.

Mythranor still fights today with the old greatsword Airinor today as a memory to his lost family

Out of Character Part
Name:
Will Needham

Country:
England

me:
likes to socialise with others in a group to make new friends. Got a good sense of humour and like to have a laugh OOC in game and on the forums. And i am also very devoted to try and achieve as much fun out of the game as possible

Why I would like to join
First of all i am out of a kinship when my old group 'the solitude watch' recently disbanded (as you mau have read on the forums). Recently though i came across this site and instantly fell in love with the idea of 'The Inner Council of Eldars' as this will ensure the kinship is fully backed by its members. Most importently, the kinship backs all my 'essentials' being light-rp and back friendship. As i am level 50 and with alot of high level group quests to do a kinship with a good amountof high leveled players is also perfect, this also means i will have alot of time to help lower leveled players with quests if they are needing.

Anyhow, this is my application and i look forward to recieving a reply  Smile

Edit- didnt see champion recruiting is closed  :-[ feel free to ignore the application if you wish

Re: Mythranor - application - Edatain - 13 Sep, 07

Methrendomir, the leader will get back to you. But i'm sure that you'll be recruited Good luck

Re: Mythranor - application - Methrendomir - 14 Sep, 07

Thanks for the application Mythranor.  Oh, you can sometimes ignore the recruitment status notices!  (Two of our Champions have sadly left the game this week anyway.)

The Solitude Watch is a very respected kinship, which we'll all be sad to see go.  If any of your friends, Pedirnur, Arawing, Serenald, Glimdoin and Keadric/Jar/Or/Cam/Zak (and any others?) wish to join you here, I'll be very happy to let you all stay together as a group, regardless of the recruitment status posted here!  I'll have a chat in-game next time I see you (I should be around tomorrow from 7pm, but I may be busy as I'm organising a Helegrod raid - however I'll do my best to make the time, if I can!)

Re: Mythranor - application - Thoronthor - 14 Sep, 07

Nice idea, Meth. I would also recommend Kaedric, who made heroic efforts to keep SW going after the founder's departure...

Indeed, I had a conversation with him yesterday evening.  He was understandably subdued about the break-up, but I wanted to let him know we'd happily let you all stay together if you wish.  I remember when my WoW guild broke up after bleeding players to the raiding guilds, and it wasn't so much the breakup of the guild's name that upset me, but the fact that we all went off to different guilds and lost close contact.  Interestingly, he lives a couple of miles away from me in RL!

Re: Mythranor - application - Shrindrae - 14 Sep, 07

I spoke with Kae too yesterday, i was in Solitude Watch too.

He is still unsure yes but lets hope we could get him to TWA. Very nice person indeed

Re: Mythranor - application - Susprina - 14 Sep, 07

I havent personally grouped with anyone from Solitude Watch, but I hear you all have a sterling reputation on the server.

To this extent, I wish you (and any others from your old kin) all the very best in your application(s) to join.

*tips hat*
