High level Alliance - Brambles - 07 Nov, 10 I admit I don't play as much as others and I'm still waiting to reach Lv 50 with my first character but I have noticed that the majority of the events/raids seem to have a high level bias meaning all us little character tend to miss out. Is there no way to accomadate the lower levellers in some of the Alliance activities? Apologizies if I have missed something and there is already a policy in place for us minors. Re: High level Alliance - Belegwe - 07 Nov, 10 With the exception of raids all other events are user generated i.e. individual members create those events themselves. If you want to do a particular instance etc feel free to pop it up on the event scheduler, there are plenty of people with lower level alts. Actually, I have just recently posted up both Carn Dum and Urugarth runs for next week, the level range for both starting at 50. Remember, anyone can post an event, not just officers. We do actually run a fair bit of lower level content, over the past month we've done Barad Gularan several times, Carn Dum a few times, Urugarth a few times and the Rift. I created most of those events myself, just putting them up on the scheduler and people signed up. Because there has just been new content released many will probably be wanting to do the higher level stuff at the moment, but we should still be able to get a few for some lower level action too. Re: High level Alliance - Ingaras - 07 Nov, 10 Just confirming Belegwe's point here, if someone takes the effort to organize something, there's usually enough people with alts around to get something at lower level started. However, over 90% of TWA does have at least one level 60+ character and there's just been a bunch of fresh level 65 content, so you're bound to see mostly high level activity at the moment. Re: High level Alliance - Kairos - 07 Nov, 10 By and large, the only formal raid events the kinship lays on are the high-end raids. That is primarily because being rather more complicated and demanding, they require a fairly high level of organisation; you can't really go after the Lieutenant with a casually assembled group on the night. However, if you keep an eye on the events panel, you'll notice there are always several lower-level events put up by individual members, and of course you are strongly encouraged to post one yourself. The other point about casual events is that they can be perfectly competently led by less experienced players - you don't really need Thor or myself to take you into Carn Dum, though we'd probably do so if asked nicely... Re: High level Alliance - Brambles - 07 Nov, 10 Thanks all. I realize that people are always going to want to move forward and are hardly going to hang aroundÃÂ well visited locations for the sake of newer players. I will now certainly keep an eye on future events now that Im back online. Thanks for the replies |
