ABOUT YOUR MAIN (fast and simple) There is a man, this man is called Grimskjegg to know his history one must know his family. His father was called Aswald Dragnarfostre. Aswald's father was called Skjold-Beorn. Skjold-Beorn was a fierce warrior and a great man. He lived through many great battles against the forces of evil. His small village was burned down by raiders while the villagers were sleeping. He fled with some of his men, but the raiders were on horses, and they were soon at their heels. Skjold-Beorn and his men held his ground while the women and children were running. The men were all killed, but their names lives on. Aswald was born soon after by Skjold-Beorn's wife. Aswald was raised under the dwarf metalsmith called Dragnar. Aswald lived many years as Dragnars apprentice. He learned the way of fire and metal. Aswald lived as the dwarfs lived, working at the forge in the great halls of the dwarfs. Dragnar was as a father for Aswald, and his family bloodline was almost forgotten. The old age is crawling over Aswald, and his one regrett is that he did not find his true nature. Grimskjegg was given the task Aswald had failed to do, to find the almost lost fighting spirit of his ancestors. He was given a task every men in his family line got to fulfill. One could not call himself a true man before he end three enemies lifes with his shield in a single strike. Skjold-Beorn had done this task when he still was a young lad, that is where he got his name. Grimskjegg got his name from his long beard. It must have been the mead served in the great dwarven halls. Growing beard is not somthing Grimskjegg is destined to do, so he left his home to fulfil his task. 14. Unfortunately we have a requirement that your character be at least level 30 before we can accept your application. To be honest getting another 13 levels really won't take you all that long, and your application looks good, so please do post in this thread again once you have gotten to a high enough level. Thanks for your interest, and I hope that we will hear from you again soon! Re: Guard looking for Kinship - Grimskjegg - 03 Oct, 10 Oh snap, I was sure I read all the rules for recruitment and such. must have skipped the part of level restrictions. But I will come back when the time is right. Re: Guard looking for Kinship - Belegwe - 03 Oct, 10 I like the name! Very appropriate for a dwarf! Re: Guard looking for Kinship - Grimskjegg - 08 Oct, 10 Too bad I'm a Man then. =D Yeh, it does fit nicely to be a Dwarf name. |
