Mistress of Pestilence defeated! - Ingaras - 11 Nov, 09
After a first visit last week, tonight Thoronthor, Kairos, Lakeborn, Finella, Emithryth, Teolwyn, Belegwe, Ceredir, Feandil, Gifford, Maconabo and Freolyn managed to defeat the Mistress of Pestilence, the final boss of Dar Narbugud. Congratulations!

The main (only?) difference was to spread out a lot more during phase three. It's still messy, and kind of chaotic, at that stage, but we survived. The last phase has nothing really challenging to offer, unfortunately. Bunch up, aoe, and dead Mistress.

As Teo said, the final phase is chaotic. What made it survivable was having everyone following the RAT (Ceredir) very strictly and using AOE as often as possible.

It's not wildly exciting, but here is a picture of the party 1.3 seconds after the Mistress went down.
You can just catch a glimpse of Thoronthor at the far right, rushing to ninja the chest, with Emi and Theo in hot pursuit.

Yes, I mentioned last night that it's a shame the corpses despawn so darn quickly in this game. No time for heroic posing in front of your battered and conquered foe.

:S They despawn within 1.3 seconds? Why on earth? I enjoy walking around the corpse looking at all the gruesome details once I'm done having a heart-attack while tanking it.
