Huzzah for TWA! :D - Maurvaethil - 22 Oct, 09 Hello, all! I'm really starting to feel back in the swing of things, now. I think the de-noobifying process after not having logged on for six months is nearing completion. I'm getting to know the 'end-game' instances (even if some of them tend to blend together) and no one seems to be pointing and laughing. Unless you're all doing it behind my back! *suspicious* Anyways, the kin has been very helpful, friendly, and generous! I've been having a lot of fun and hope to continue to do so! Some of us may have our political disagreements on the forum, but so far it's been nothing but smiles and sunshine (and orcs and blood and exploding flesh, and the occasional cursing) while grouping in game. And, after all, that's what it's all about! So a very sincere expression of kin-joyment (yup, not afraid to be cheesy) goes out to you all. ;D Re: Huzzah for TWA! :D - Thoronthor - 22 Oct, 09 Thank you Maur, it does me good to hear that, and I am really happy with all the new recruits in the past 5 months or so, you have all really helped blow new life into the kinship, to the point that all that see us grouped in massive numbers every hour of the day, 7 days a week, look on in envy whenever we pass. Re: Huzzah for TWA! :D - Druth - 22 Oct, 09 hehe, I've grouped with you from the start (when you had 4k health), and recently with 5k+ health. Improvement is visibel both on stats, and in actions Re: Huzzah for TWA! :D - Maurvaethil - 22 Oct, 09 It's not improvement! It's... re-improvement. Re-provement! Alright, gear-wise improvement. Mainly thanks to generous kinnies. : D Re: Huzzah for TWA! :D - Marcelon - 22 Oct, 09 How nice, a group hug cunningly disguised as a forum thread. *puts arms out wide ready to join in* Re: Huzzah for TWA! :D - Kindo - 22 Oct, 09 Oh, how beautiful! Brought a tear to my eye to read. I agree with you that in the end, it's about the group activities and team spirit in-game, and this kinship really excels in that respect. Politics will always be the cause of some sour comments, even among the best of friends, but at the end of the day, I think most of us are quite happy to have such a fine company to spend their free time with. /hug TWA Re: Huzzah for TWA! :D - Maurvaethil - 22 Oct, 09 And while we're in the group hug... my morale went from around 4200 to 4800, so... it's not very high. Still I managed to be at top health tanking two EM's when both Telly and Indo denied healing me. ÃÂ 8) (New healer tactic? Ego-buffing the tank w sweet, sweet lies?) Re: Huzzah for TWA! :D - Ingaras - 22 Oct, 09 Well, we healers have to keep people motivated enough to jump in front of us and take a beating, don't we? . I would more think about 'buffing' instead of 'ego-buffing' though. Tale of Warding and Heroism, Song of Balance and our secret weapon Anthem of the Free Peoples tends to give the idea that you are invincible. (for the non-minstrels that is +armour, +10 radiance, +evade rating and +icmr). Nevertheless it still was an impressive piece of tanking, that fight usualy is a lot more chaotic. D'awww you're now my friend. I'll gladly jump in front of a runaway freight-train heading for you, any time. Just remember to sing those Songs and Anthems before I do it.ÃÂ Re: Huzzah for TWA! :D - Methrendomir - 22 Oct, 09 Ahh, good old 'political disagreements' are great fun.ÃÂ So long as we all argue against each other's opinions only and don't take anything personally, it's all in good humour.ÃÂ When things get personal, it's not so nice, but I've yet to see any of that recently. 'tis a good kin nowadays. |
