Application for Rezkill - Rezkill - 14 Aug, 08

Hi all, just returrned to the game after being away for awhile due to problems with various internet companies and the area i live in, anyway have now returned and started a new character which will now be my main as i have also got a friend involved so starting from scratch with him, heres the characters info

Character Names
Rezkill (Main) - Guardian Lvl 6
Gibrelle - Gardian Lvl 25
Lee - Loremaster Lvl 15

(IC) My name is Rezkill, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true King of King's, Theoden of Rohan. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife.  I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next fighting against Sauron, A man who think's he is a God.
OOC) My names Lee, 22 and Im from Bolton, England. I signed up to the game in june/july last year and purchased the lifetime account and have now returned, My regular play times are evenings and whenever i have a day off. I have played many mmorpg games in the past but thourghly enjoy this one by far, the games i have played are StarWars Galaxies, City Of Villains, Eve Online, Guild Wars and Planetside.

Hello and welcome.

Now i wonder about your name: "RezKill"


"Rez" = slang word used to describe the word Resurrect
"Kill" = Well no need to describe this

We can clearly agree that RezKill name is quite not the standards within Roleplaying Server. I dont want to sound the evil person here but i see it that way. When it comes to character names, i take them serious.

Thanks Shrin... I was just thinking the same... Read your application, but hadn't reacted yet because I was hoping someone else would.

Beside the name, there's also your background that pretty much raises some questions to me. You're a lvl 6 guardian, and you're commander and general of king Theoden's armies?

Just asking for explaination, not being "evil" either... I'm just as harmless as lady Shrimps  :bunny1:

hehe, I had to giggle a little Rez.  I think you need to work a little on your RP skills, and that name - well you'll be very lucky not to have the GM RP-police on your back soon!

However, we're not a hardcore RP kinship, and bad RPing doesn't make you a bad person, so best of luck with your application!  :vh1:

Oh, and I'm not sure, but I think Guardian recruitment is closed isn't it? hmmm.

Thanks for your comments and replys, to answer a few people my name Rezkill, I've used this name through various games, one reason because (even though I see what shrindrae is saying) it says strongly about my character how when fighting the forces of evil, even when they get resurrected i shall be the on to yet slay them once again, hence the name Rezkill Smile hope that sheds a little light on that question, as for the second question (which i have in my bio but only gave you a little rough version of it) I was sent on a high priority mission to live in the darkness and get close to sauron, but i failed this mission and got many of my troops killed in battle, for the shame of not killing sauron i was leveled back down to zero but still kept my rank of commander and general (on hold) but have to work very hard to prove to theoden and everyone else that i can once again gain my rank, and the respect of theodens armies.
Hope that clears up things a little, and i welcome anymore questions anyone may have

Now well, thats good explanation if you would be playing on Non-RP server but would you think that anyone in Middle-Earth for real would give that name for a Child? I mean, your character had parents, they wouldnt give you name RezKill knowing that you would slaughter forces of evil again and again.. just it doesnt make sense at all.

If you understand what is my point in here

Maybe it's a nickname?  I created a character once called AllianceBanker, and that was her job title, not her name.  Perfectly fine for RP, after all you have people called 'One-handed weaponsmith'.  Got RP-police-zapped ofc, d'oh!

hmm good point's all round, when i log in game im going to file an in-game ticket about it and suggest could i get re-named due to roleplaying server rules keeping in accordance to naming.
Going to suggest being renamed to Rezkilius Fry, this is a name ive also used before as an alt. Sound better??
