Zara's application - Zara - 21 Jul, 08 Character: Zara, lvl 50 hobbit burglar, GM tinker. Zara's IC history: Found wandering in the Bindbole Woods at the age of three, Zara was raised by an elderly, childless, hobbit couple in Brockenborings. She often played alone in the woods while growing up, as the other hobbit children used to tease her about her unknown parents, not letting her join in their games and often throwing stones or trying to hurt her in other ways. She soon learned to escape her assailants, sometimes seeming to vanish into thin air before her persecutors Since her adopted parents passed on, she hopes that the travelling her craft demands will help find herÃÂ heritage and particularly her surname. At an early age, she discovered a talent for working precious and rare metals such as gold and misty mountain silver. The procurement of the precious metals she needs to create her beautiful and useful jewellery makes it necessary for her to travel long distances to places that are hardly known even by name to most of the hobbit population. These travels have forced her to learn to fend for herself and she has became a marvelous cook, a talent which now recommends her to the hearts of her once tormentors. Her travels have made her increasingly aware of the growing dangers that threaten not only the Shire, but all of Middle Earth and she tries to do her bit in the fight for freedom, but has of late found it necessary to find companions that are willing and able to join her in the fight against the fast-approaching armies of Angmar. Alts: I have a lvl 50 dwarven guardian but as guardians seem to be everywhere, I have put him on ice and am playing my burglar who i am greatly enjoying. I also have a lvl 23 elven hunter. What am I looking for in a kinship?: I am looking for a fun kinship, with helpful people and mature players who enjoy the game and raid regularly but do not expect their players to play 7 nights a week. Also the raid times are important as my kids have a bedtime and so do IÃÂ ÃÂ My preferred raid time would start at 20.00 CET (19.00 GMT) Why choose TWA?: I seem to keep running into TWA members throughout Middle Earth and have fellowed with several in the past couple of weeks, especially Sebbi who has kindly dragged me through the Bree and Sarnur rep dungeons. /wave Sebbi, surprise! Having talked to Sebbi and a few others like Ertana and Methrendel and having read your kinship forum, I have come to the conclusion that your kinship offers what I am looking for in the way of raiding and other possibilities. Who am I?: A woman never reveals her real ageÃÂ Suffice to say, mentally I wander between all ages from 15 to 115. I am a divorced mum with 2 children, 6 and 8, currently living in Sweden. My partner has a lvl 50 elven minstrel but is currently playing WoW. When do I play?: I play Lotro a lot. At least 4-6 hours during the day/evening, more when my kids aren't with me. (They live with me 2 weeks out of every month). Previous kinships?: I have been a member of Sunfall since Lotro came online and do like the people there, but there is so little activity in the kin that I decided to look elsewhere for companionship for my burglar. After having talked to a few members of the Hard Biscuits, I thought they would be what I was looking for, but having been in that kinship for over a month now I have come to the conclusion that as friendly and warm as they are, the kinship does not offer what I am looking for. What kind of player am I?: I consider myself a helpful person; when kinship members ask for help, I believe I offer help more often than not. I love to craft items and am often out looking for materials. I also enjoy playing with other people, whether it be questing, instancing, trait- or materialgrinding or raiding. As to gear, I realise it is important to have good gear to play better but its not my top priority; housing items are! :vh1: Previous MMPORGs? I played WoW for 2 years and was an avid raider there, raiding 6 nights a week for at least a year. When Lotro came out I was ready for a change and loved the game immediately. Then they introduced rep grinding and I was so disappointed I stopped playing for about 6 months. I played WoW again during that time but couldnt really get back into it. I returned to Lotro and haven't looked back since. Thank you for taking the time to read my application. Looking forward to hearing from you.ÃÂ Re: Zara's application - Talzaroff - 21 Jul, 08 Hey Zara! Nice to see your application.
