Looks like it was in the end.
While waiting I rolled a Hobbit Minstrel on Whithywhatitsname.
Finally got on Laurelin and yay respend all your LI points.  :ough1:

A couple of things I have noticed are that I seem to get more strobing of middle distant objects, at the point where the resolution changes.
Also some shading on walls, rocks etc seem to consist of lines that also seem to move/strobe when passing them.

I'm glad I didn't bother with the full re-install. I kept playing New Vegas for a couple of hours, while having the launcher running (retrying connection continuously) in the background, and eventually it started patching successfully - turns out you just had to wait for CM/Turbine to fix their server connection. Download speed was relatively quick, as well, so it didn't take long to get up-to-date. Luckily, I still have distractions on the side, so I can wait a bit before joining the chaos that most likely awaits me in Enedwaith. Wink

Hehe, it's that too. Am I being too hopeful thinking we'll get the announced November update at the same time the US servers do, by the way? Or is it already applied?

LOL once I finally managed to work out what was going on I quite liked the new vault, will take a bit of getting used to.
Being able to rename the chests would be fantastic.

You might want to check out the dev diary on the vault changes in the November update. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Well, I was.

As to the current vault, I opened it up, spent a few seconds staring in shock and then quickly closed it. Not dared to look in it since. Tongue

Haha! That was my exact reaction as well. It's a good enough organisation, however, nothing really wrong with it, but it will take some time getting used to. I do hope they'll do something about the overview, though. As it stands now, you can only see a handful of items at a time, and I definitely miss being able to see them all listed on the same screen, like I could before with the chest interface. Maybe that's something they're doing with the update you mentioned?
