Re: European LOTRO Account Migration May 31st - Bado - 01 Jun, 11

I have no idea what I am supposed to be doing (as usual).
My client just started updating and I haven't migrated my account yet. I don't see anything to click on the migration page on FF or Chrome or IE.
Sad
What a I missing?

how nice of them Big Grin

And what if bastards cancelled my subscription cause I had it via Paypal?!

Re: European LOTRO Account Migration May 31st - Ingaras - 01 Jun, 11

Afaik, they didn't cancel anything, but account information like the remaining subscription days and point balance aren't migrated instantly... just wait and see, they should be added soon.

Re: European LOTRO Account Migration May 31st - Aielros - 01 Jun, 11

I managed to sneak through and migrate my CM account to my new Turbine account - now it's a case of waiting impatiently!

EDIT: email from Turbine
Quote:Your new Turbine account name is “blah blah”

All game information associated with the account” blah blah” has been successfully transferred to Turbine's LOTRO Global Service.

The second stage of your migration is currently being processed by our systems. Any outstanding point balances or other privileges from your Codemasters account will be automatically transferred shortly. Once the second stage of the transfer process is complete you will receive another e-mail.

Points to be migrated: 165.

While your game information has been migrated and you may now log in and start playing LOTRO, we generally recommend that players wait until the entire process completes. Logging into the game at this point may result in the display of incorrect point balances, subscription states, or other account-related display issues.

Please remember that you will no longer be able to use your Codemasters account information to access LOTRO. Going forward you should use your newly created Turbine account to play the game.

Just came back from cinema after more than 2 hours and guess what??? Cannot even go through fkin login website cause it's overloaded!

There are French, German and English playing LotRO for fkin 4 years so it means lots of people and those american retards set up service which was overloaded stright away! Good move for a new start in America!

...but hey I will be able to see my armour on mu fkin iPhone!!!

Let me in bastards!!!

While I understand your frustration, I don't think there's need to express it in such terms...

Besides, they're expecting to have the servers up before the weekend... plenty of time left to do the migration tool, all you're missing out on is a very slow forum account

Quote:... the servers are not misoperating because they are under-specced. We prepared the servers for an onslaught of epic proportions... but there's still an even higher onslaught of epic proportions.

Re: European LOTRO Account Migration May 31st - Simrandir - 02 Jun, 11

Oh well I will then patiently wait until epic migration finishes. End of the cue means I won't have to bother about crowd in front of meSmile
